Dr. Agha is currently completing her PGY-1 Transitional Year residency at Abrazo Health on the path to dermatology. Patient evaluations at IYA Medical are scheduled around her residency commitments — typically as initial assessments, second opinions, and care coordination.
Clinical assessment of skin lesions, rashes, growths, and pigmented spots — with referral to a board-certified dermatologist when indicated.
Initial consultation for cosmetic concerns — texture, tone, photoaging — and coordination with affiliated providers for in-office treatment.
Biopsy planning, scar care, and follow-up coordination — leveraging the IYA Medical interventional imaging suite when image-guided sampling is helpful.

Resident Physician — Dermatology Track
Dr. Iya Agha is a Resident Physician currently completing her PGY-1 Transitional Year at Abrazo Health in Arizona on her path to dermatology. A graduate of New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine, she also holds a Master of Science in Bioethics from Columbia University and dual undergraduate degrees in Biomedical Sciences and English Literature from Barrett, The Honors College at Arizona State University. Dr. Agha is an active clinical researcher with more than a dozen peer-reviewed publications spanning dermatology, osteopathic manipulative medicine, oncology, and medical humanism. Her contributions to IYA Medical center on patient-facing dermatologic care, education, and research collaboration with the practice.
